What’s the typical life span of a hot tub or spa?

Recent independent studies were carried out to determine energy usage, environmental impact and the life span of hot tubs and spas. The average lifespan of a hot tub was reported to last only 5 to 10 years, while more reputable manufacturer’s hot tubs and spas lasted an average of 10 to 15 years.

What makes a Beachcomber stand out from the competition is that all of our hot tubs last nearly twice as long as any of our competitors’.

The difference between the purchase price and the usage cost.

If a spa potentially costs $7,500 and only lasted five years, that would be like spending $1,500 on that spa per year over those five years. If that same spa that cost $7,500 lasted twenty years, your usage cost would really be $375.

It’s one of the many reasons why we believe that purchasing high quality hot tubs, like a Beachcomber, will help you save money in the long run-and give you a hot tub that lasts more than 25 years!
