Tips for putting together a summer hot tub party

With summer now in full-swing, it’s time to start planning your next big party. Inviting friends over to relax with you in your hot tub is a great way to celebrate any occasion. A Beachcomber hot tub is truly the perfect centerpiece for a party.

Before sending out any invites for your next hot tub party, here are a few tips so that you can throw a party that goes without a hitch.

Clean your tub beforehand

This is an absolute must. Test you hot tub levels at least a few days in advance so you can add chemicals if needed. Also, keeping up your weekly additions of Pure Blue or Purezyme #3 is important to assure that your water is clean when guests come over.

Keep the invite list short

This isn’t about being anti-social, it’s about being practical. Having a packed house without enough space or activities for all can makes for a bad party.

Plan Food and Drinks

Light finger food is always best for this kind of party. Anything heavier will create upset stomachs and lower the energy in the party. Also, it’s important to provide plenty of drinks. In the heat of the summer, as well as the hot tub, people can become dehydrated. Flavored cocktails, light beers and sodas are always the best things to have on hand.

Have supplies on-hand

Some friends will inevitably forget a towel, a change of shirt or even swim trunks, so it’s great to have a few of each on-hand just in case.

Have a playlist

This is just Party Planning 101, have an appropriate playlist for the event. Keep it light and as non-divisive as possible.
