The final few weeks of summer are upon us, which means it’s time to squeeze as much as you can out of the sunny, warm weather, and those last remaining care free afternoons and evenings.
What’s a great way to spend time outside and together? It’s right outside the backdoor: your Beachcomber Hot Tub!
With a Beachcomber Hot Tub, everyone can spend time together and catch up without the distractions of cellphones, TV, tablets, and the internet. An electronic-free zone can keep the whole family engaged in what is going on with everyone else, without getting distracted by the screens in front of them.
Enjoying Family Hot Tub Time
Especially in summer, it’s always important to keep the following in mind when soaking in your Beachcomber Hot Tub.
This is important any time of the year, but in the summer heat, sometimes we can forget how much water we really need. Always encourage everyone to have a big glass of water before stepping into the hot tub, and make sure everyone stays hydrated following a soak. Also, grab some plastic cups and bring them out to enjoy a cold glass of water as you enjoy your hot tub.
Lower The Temperature
If the temperature outside is hot, it’s likely you’ll want a little less heat inside your hot tub. And it’s easy to do! Just turn the set temperature down by 15 degrees, for a cooler, more refreshing summertime experience in your Beachcomber.
Add in Some Shade
If you are doing any big activities in the summer months, it’s always best to find a place with some shade to cool off. Too much time in the sun can lead to heatstroke. If your hot tub is set-up for direct sun, be sure to invest in an umbrella or sun shade that will deflect some of the rays.
As a key component of your backyard oasis, your Beachcomber Hot Tub needs to be in tip top shape to enjoy with the whole family. And maintaining it is simple! Just take a minute every few days to test your water to ensure it’s balanced and follow your water care program to ensure healthy, crystal clear results. Also remember that right before a high usage period of your hot tub is a good time for a drain and re-fill.
